Western Rugby's Annual Golf Day Out 2024: A Day of Fun, Fellowship, and Fundraising
The WWU Alumni Association hosted the annual Golf Day Out on September 20th, 2024—a day filled with friendly competition, reconnecting with alumni, and raising vital funds for the WWU Men’s Rugby Club. Highlights included contests like longest drive, putting, and closest to the pin. Congratulations to the winning team: Nathan Mathis, Eric Mathis, Hayden Cross, Charlie Funk, and their caddy, Peter Nourse!

Gerry Henson was a wrestler at Western Washington University, but started playing rugby in 1967 after being convinced by Larry Willman. He cherishes the great friendships and life experiences that came from taking up rugby on Willman's invitation.
