Meet the 6 WWU Rugby Scholarship Recipients

It was a beautiful setting at Harrington Field for a championship day of rugby. The sun was shining, the cherry blossoms in full bloom and the stands were full.

Western Washington has clinched a spot in what is basically a CRAA quarterfinal.

The victory over the Oregon Ducks proved to be more than just another win in that it also gave the young Vikings another NCRC Championship.

The weather was not nice but the rugby was very good. After 80 minutes of play the host WWU Men's rugby took home a 40-24 victory over the visiting Oregon State Beavers.

We recognize the impactful work of our departing members and welcome new members who will help advance our mission of supporting the program.

WWU Rugby traveled to Phoenix for a competitive cross-divisional match against Grand Canyon University, with the Vikings showing tremendous heart despite having 6 starters out of the lineup and managing multiple lead changes throughout the 80-minute contest.

Western Washington traveled to Grand Canyon over the weekend in a D1AA/D1A crossover match, and while GCU came away with the win, the Vikings have to feel relatively good about it all.

When WWU headed down I-5 to take on the UW Huskies, they knew to expect a spirited match.

This exciting evening will feature live and silent auctions, a delicious dinner, and a wonderful opportunity to connect with Alumni, Supporters & Friends as well as Team players and their families.
