On a beautiful fall afternoon at Harrington Field, Western Washington University Men’s Rugby took to the pitch for its annual Blue and White Intrasquad Game, marking the official start of the 2025 season. With the backdrop of golden autumn leaves and a spirited crowd cheering from the stands, the stage was set for an afternoon full of intensity, teamwork, and pride in Viking Rugby.
From the opening whistle, both squads came out firing. The Blue and White teams displayed sharp execution, hard tackles, and impressive communication—showcasing the depth of skill across the roster. The match provided a valuable opportunity for coaches to evaluate combinations and player performance as the team continues to prepare for the competitive season ahead.
Each side traded scores throughout the match, keeping the energy high and the crowd fully engaged. Ultimately, the match ended in an exciting 4 tries a piece.
