Western Washington University Men's Rugby has earned a berth in the CRAA D1AA 15s National Championship Semifinals, taking their relentless brand of high-tempo, physically dominant rugby to the national stage. For a program that has made a habit of competing and winning at the highest levels of collegiate rugby, this semifinal appearance is what the program was built for.
The Vikings play against Millennia Atlantic University on Friday, May 1st at 10:30 AM PST / 1:30 PM EST.
Under the continued leadership of Head Coach Adam Roberts, WWU Rugby has evolved into one of the most disciplined and dynamic programs in the country. Known for blistering ruck speed, elite ball-in-play time, and an identity rooted in intelligent, continuity-based rugby, the Vikings have systematically dismantled every opponent in their path.
The program claimed the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference (NCRC) 15s Championship and battled through a demanding national bracket to earn their place among the final four in D1AA.
These are the student-athletes carrying the Blue and White into Indianapolis — from Portland to Pretoria, from Honaunau to Indianapolis. They chose Western Washington University because of what this program stands for.

The CRAA D1AA 15s National Championship is the pinnacle of collegiate club rugby in the United States. A semifinal appearance places WWU among the four best D1AA programs in the nation. A victory sends them to the National Championship final.
For the Western Rugby Alumni (WRA), whose scholarship support, financial backing, and decades of commitment have helped build this program into a national contender, this run represents a direct return on that investment. Championships are built in the weight room, the film room, and in the community. The WRA has been present for all of it.
